 When searching for our next heifer bull we spotted the group of Judo's in the Ter-Ron catalog. The comments by Rob and sale staff were that they were all excellent footed and calving ease bulls but were moderate made. We decided to take a chance and buy a bull from a program we have always looked up too. We picked Leon as he is backed by a Diamond Mist dam which is one of Ter-Ron's best and most famous families. The first year he was only used on heifers but last year we used him heavily on heifers and our power cows. Leon has definitely given us calving ease, improved foot structure, stoughtness, and muscle. We all strive to have heifers calve on there own and have vigorous calves which is what we what have had the last 2 years. Both bull and heifers calves  weaned off first calf dams with excellent weaning weights. The heifers are turning into moderate framed feminine females and we are looking forward to breeding and calving them out next year. The bulls are developing into moderate made, smooth shoulder, stout, muscular herd bulls.

This was a bull we were lucky to get back and use ourselves. He was a very popular pick in our group of 3 bulls at Agribition in 2018. The Packers have worked so well here in every way possible which makes it  hard to switch lines. This guy, just like his sire, has perfect feet. 48e is off a Premier dam according to the CAA and we have a few daughter's off of her. His progeny have the same length of body as the Valentines but about a half a frame score bigger. They all seem to exhibit his great hind quarter, easy going disposition and dark red hair coat.

13E sires dark red calves with extra length and usually a touch more frame . He calves very easy and the  calves grow very well. His daughters calving this year are doing very well. They have the type of udders that will last a long time. We used one of his top sons on our heifers last year and they calves out very easy. 18w has had a top calf every year no matter what she is bred too. The  new direction calves are dark red and super easy calving with excellent growth so far.

We purchased this guy from the Triple AAA bull sale from Triple H Cattle Co of Cupar, Sk in 2017. We bought him for his dark red color, his exceptional hind quarter and length of body. He is off a good, heavy set  cow that went back to Red Pasquia Arab who we knew calved easy and left great females. So far he as really stamped his progeny like himself. The females are very easy fleshing with lots of body depth, beautiful udders with small teat size and do a great job raising calves both in our purebred and commercial herd. The bull calves are dark red in color with lots of body and hind quarter that calve easy. 

Average BW for bull calves 82lbs and heifer calves 71lbs

   While we were in search of our heifer bull and found Valentine at T-K Ranch we happened to see there herd sire Red Jensen Cactus 2z. He was deep and long bodied and full of meat. We decided that day we would be back there to try and acquire his progeny. We loved everything about High Tech and managed to get our first place pic at sale time. This guy has worked really well for us adding growth and length of body to his progeny. They are generally dark in color, have a great hair coat and grow like crazy. His daughters are very productive females that raise big calves and will be here along time. His sons are big nutted rascals that can cover a lot of females. He have used him alot on our commercial cows the last few years and we are impressed by the weaning weights and top pens they were placed in at the market.

    When we bought this bull we had no idea the impact he would have on our herd. He just crosses so well with any kind of female we breed him to. His calves are built right and calve very easy.  He has a perfect foot under him and great temperament. His females are simply awesome with lots of milk and excellent udders. All 4 animals we showed at Agribition in 2021 were ALL off of dams sired by this guy. At 7 yrs old he was still as sound as the day we bought him but we made the difficult decision to sell him. We kept this bull back when we lost the Wildwood bull to replace him. We are so happy with his calves. They are mod birth wt, born easy and are vigorous. At weaning they have hip and length with lots of top.  We have an impressive group of bulls in the pen and heifers in the replacement pen. We have calved out his first group of breds this year and they are awesome mothers. Great milk bag with lots of milk and awesome temperaments. These will be the last Ribeye calves we have as we lost this guy to a breeding injury last summer.

We purchased this bull from Jon Wright, Melfort in 2011. His sire goes back to Mulberry who is one of the most talked about bulls in the Red Angus bred. His dam does back to Rab Star which is a powerful line. Ripper is a total outcross bull to us. with excellent length, dark red color, a good foot and quiet disposition. He passes all this on to his offspring plus growth. His females have very neat udders with great milk and good growth on there calves. the passed couple years we have been using  him on our commercial tan calves and wow does he cross well with them.They have tones of power and growth and are born easy.
